Kashmir police arrest cleric, books artist for expressing their solidarity with Palestine

New Delhi: Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested famous religious cleric Sarjan Barkati two days after he delivered a speech on the occasion of Eid, in which he talked about the sufferings of Palestinians and prayed for their wellbeing, The Kashmir Walla reported. The police have also lodged a case against Srinagar based artist, Mudasir Gul, under the Public Safety Act in connection with a graffiti on Palestine.
