Mumbai: City’s NGO working for communal harmony and interfaith understanding has urged the National Security Advisor Letter Ajit Doval to intervene into the matter of hate speeches by Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati.
The NGO Madariya Sufi Foundation has sent a letter to NSA in this regard stating that “We are deeply concerned and extremely worried about the series of current events regarding hate speeches, highly religious sensitive remarks on Islam, Quran and Holy Prophet by self proclaimed Hindutva Leader Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati, priest of Dasna Devi temple in Ghaziabad, UP & also by him group”
The letter further said that Saraswati and his men/group are a serious threat to Internal Security and peace to our country.
It demanded that he should be prosecuted as per stringent anti-terror ‘The Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act 1967 and National Security Act, 1980 as it is not only applicable but essential as well.
Madariya Sufi Foundation, (NGO) Mumbai has written with appeal and request for urgent attention on serious issue to current NSA Ajit Doval with copies marked to Principal Secretary to Prime Minister’s Office, New Delhi, Home Secretary, Min of Home Affairs, Delhi, Dept of Internal Security—I Division, New Delhi, Addl. Chief Secretary (Home Min. Govt of Uttar Pradesh), Min. M.A. Naqvi (Ministry of Minority Affairs) & several senior authorities of National Commission of Human Rights, Delhi.
The NGO said there is an urgent need for stern legal action on such hate mongering activities of anti-social elements who want to polarize & disturb communal harmony and brotherhood of our beloved country.
