New Delhi: Maulana Wali Rahmani, a prominent Islamic scholar and educationalist, passed away at 77 on Saturday. He was ailing for the last few weeks and was under treatment in a hospital. Maulana Rahmani was general secretary of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board; Amee-e-Shariat, Imarat Shariah, Bihar-Jharkhand & Odisha; and Sajjada Nashin of Khanqah Rahmania, Munger in Bihar.
