Eight Muslims selected for Padma awards this year

New Delhi: The BJP-led Hindu nationalist government has conferred Padma awards on 119 personalities. The awardees include eight Muslims. Two renowned Islamic scholars, Maulana Wahiduddin Khan and Maulana Kalbe Sadiq have also been selected for the award.
