Supreme Court dismisses UP govt appeal against Allahabad HC order on Kafeel Khan

NEW DELHI – The Supreme Court on Thursday declined to interfere with the Allahabad High Court order, quashing the detention of Dr Kafeel Khan under the stringent National Security Act (NSA) and directing the authorities to release him immediately. Mangaluru: A former Bajrang Dal leader and district president has been arrested by Karnataka Police for allegedly being involved in the smuggling and illegal sale of cattle. The arrested person has been identified as Anil Prabhu who was the former Karkala district president of Bajrang Dal.
